Ahmedabad-based start-up Matter Motor officially announced the EV’s arrival date in the Indian market. The company is a subsidiary of Matter Energy. Expectedly, it is facing some fierce yet indirect rivalry from other electric bikes including TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro.

Matter Aera Bike Price in India
Matter Aera 5000 has got a price tag of Rs. 1.44 lakh while its 5000+ siblings is priced 1.54 lakhs. All prices include FAME II subsidies and exclude additional state subsidies.
The company claims that Matter Aera can pick up speed from 0 to 60 in just 5 seconds.

Matter Aera 5000 features are highly impressive. Matter Aera flaunts off an unmistakably street-fighter look. Youthful design cues make it look smart. The bike exudes a sporty aura. The bike is designed especially for younger buyers.
The bike sports a sharp LED headlight, a split seat setup, a sculpted tank and side panels. Trellis frame is slightly exposed, with the battery and the motor anchored in between. Matter EV gets a uniquely designed alloy wheel design.
Both models get a thumping power kick from a 10kW motor connected to a 5kWh fixed battery. As per the company’s claim, both the variants have a 125km range. The bike features a liquid-cooling system to keep the EV going at optimum temperature. The motor comes up with a four-speed gearbox. The bike offers three riding modes – Sport, City and Eco. It gets a 100% digital instrument-console that supports smartphone connectivity for making calls, message alerts, navigation, and riding statistics. Other features include OTA updates, keyless operations etc. The bike gets a small storage space at its front.
