The New Hampshire Snowmobile Association annually arranges a three-day power sport event called Grass Drags NH and Watercross. It is organized on Columbus Day weekend in October.
The event, also called “Epping” or “The Grass Drags” in snowmobile world, becomes an excitement-loaded extravaganza. The Race into Winter Grass Drags and Watercross is a premiere event for snowmobile competitors and enthusiasts alike.

A huge crowd attend the event
A strong crowd of more than 45, 000 attend NH Grass Drags and Watercross. It is the biggest snowmobile event in the world.
It is considered a beginning of New England’s snowmobile season. More than 45, 000 snowmobile competitors and outdoor enthusiasts gather at the event to watch the fastest snowmobile racers from America and Canada.
The event will commence at 2 PM on Friday and continue until 6 PM on Sunday. It will be held from October 6 to October 8 at Brookvale Pines Farm, 154 Martin Road, Fremont, NH.

Some of the fastest snowmobiles of the world will take part in the event. They will pick up speed topping 121 mph, competing with each other in four side-by-side lanes. It gives spectators goosebumps and they keep on cheering the competitors.
Friday’s snowmobile grass drags NH will feature the amateur class and roll into evening under the lights. Big wigs grace the event on Saturday and Sunday. They will race at the speed of 0-60 times more and can easily throw inhuman challenges to the best supercars.

NH snowmobile watercross event includes both conventional straight line drag racing and distinct oval style racing on the pond at the heart of the race facility.
Amateur, Semi Pro and Pro take part in the racing organized by the Eastern Watercross Association. It’s fast, thrilling and amazing. Oh yes, let me tell you competitors sink too!
Lawn Mower Racing
The New England Lawn Mower Racing Association organizes hardcore racing side by side during the triple header weekend. Depending on the race class and track size, they can pick up speed of 6-60 mph.
Rave-X Freestyle
Winter race gives different thrills. The Rave-X freestyle team has nation-wide reputation and it shows incredible freestyle stunts throughout the weekend Winter X games. Snowmobiles jumping from massive ramps at great heights give audience goosebumps.
The Rave X delivers incredible performance with big air tricks, heel clickers, backflips, synchronised flips, superman and other gravity-challenging stunts.
Spectators on the race grounds can watch the stunts from different areas but you need to visit the arena early and get a good spot to capture some head-reeling photos and videos.

Volunteer-Supported Fundraising
Many of you will be surprised to know that volunteers organize Grass Drags NH and Watercross, one of the biggest and most popular snowballs events. It is the largest fund-raising event for the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association. NHSA is a 501 cr non-profit organization.
The event helps finance NHSA’s efforts and 100 participating clubs, who are in charge of maintaining trails that people love riding every winter. The organizer welcomes you to their next event.
